We WILL - Worship, Intercede, Listen, Love as Growth & Accountability Partners

We WILL…stand in the GAP!

Worship, Intercede, Listen & Love as Growth and Accountability Partners

What:

Commit to growing through personal devotions: Bible Reading, Praise & Prayer

Connect with another believer on a weekly basis to encourage and be encouraged

Why:

Grow closer to God. Psalm 16:8; John 15:4-7; Acts 17:27

Grow up in faith. Ephesians 4:15; 2 Peter 1:5-6; Hebrews 6:1

Grow strong with others: Ephesians 4:13; 2 Thessalonians 1:3

How:
Choose a Bible Reading Plan that fits YOU! Each of these options offers a different level of support and study aids.

  • Your own schedule and devotion/guide.
  • Daily Bread (reading schedule included – short daily devotional)
  • Online devotional (Many, many but Faithwalk offers a devo that is connected to the day’s reading: http://www.backtothebible.org.)/
  • Bible Pathway (Monthly magazine or email devotional that gives insights into passages read on a given day. Annual cost: $12)
Choose (or request) an encouragement partner. If God has given you a strong devotion life, please don’t think this isn’t for you. Every gift is given to bless others. If you’ve never had a devotion time, please don’t think this isn’t for you. God blesses every step!

• Determine what fits both of your weekly schedules and choose a time to meet or speak (in person, online or by phone). Simply chat about how strong your WILL has been.

o Have you been able to worship?

o Is prayer time a blessing or a burden?

o What are you learning as you study God’s Word?

o What ways has He been asking you to show your love by obeying Him or by serving another?

  1. Thank you BillieJo. Great tips/reminders. No matter how many years one has been a Christian, the daily spiritual exercises are vital to our Christian walk. I am happy for your blog and encouragement. We can fellowship here too and
I John 1:7 stresses how important that fellowship is. Thanks again
